SOFTWARE

Operating System:
  • Windows 7 Professional x64
Media Player:
  • XBMC – This software will play pretty much any audio/video format you can throw at it, it’s easy to configure and customize, and there are some great looking themes for it. -> http://www.xbmc.org
Other:
  • SABnzbd – From their homepage: “SABnzbd makes Usenet as simple and streamlined as possible by automating everything we can.” All I have to do is add an .nzb file to the “Watched Folder”, which is shared across the network, so I can access it from any PC, and SABnzbd automatically goes to work and starts the download, verifies, repairs and extracts it to the proper folder. There is also a mobile interface to I can access it from my BlackBerry to add and check-in on my downloads on the go. -> http://www.sabnzbd.org
  • SickBeard – Sick Beard is a PVR for newsgroup users (with limited torrent support). It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them, sorts and renames them, and optionally generates metadata for them. It currently supports NZBs.org, NZBMatrix, NZBs’R'Us, Bin-Req.com, Womble’s Index, any newznab provider, and EZTV.it and retrieves show information from theTVDB.com and TVRage.com. -> http://code.google.com/p/sickbeard/
